3D ultrasounds produce 3-dimensional images of baby in flesh tones. The features on 3D ultrasounds are much more distinguishable than the gray-scale images of a 2D ultrasound. 4D ultrasounds provide the ability to see the 3-dimensional images in real time. This is what allows us to see baby kicking, sucking his thumb, and wiggling around on the ultrasound.

HD Live is an upgrade in 3D/4D technology. HD Live is trademarked by GE in their Voluson line of ultrasound machines, the standard in obstetric imaging. While the output intensity and frequency is the same as standard ultrasounds, the software works its magic to produce truly lifelike images of baby! Meet Your Miracle is the only facility equipped with HD Live in the area. All of our 3D/4D Packages include HD imaging too!

In addition to HD Live technology, Meet Your Miracle has invested in the latest of what GE has to offer in ultrasound imaging. With our newest machine, we are able to offer imaging quality even beyond GE’s HD Live. HD Live was first available in 2006. The next upgrade in GE’s imaging was made available in just the past few years, and we have it here! UltraHD allows more software options and techniques to get better images earlier in pregnancy and from “stubborn” babies. All of our 3D/4D Packages include UltraHD imaging too!

We offer 3D/4D scans from 6 weeks on. The best time depends on what you are looking for. For early ultrasounds, the baby is still pretty tiny and is a good time to get a look of the whole body as opposed to a very clear facial image. Around 24-25 weeks, the face starts to fill out, and you can see the features becoming much more defined. Around 28-30 weeks, you will start to see the chubby cheeks and baby lips. We offer a great return discount program – $25 off any 3D session for a second visit in the pregnancy and $40 off any 3D session for the rest of the pregnancy. 

No.  Insurance does not cover our services at this time. We do take HSA cards but recommend bringing a back-up form of payment, and we always recommend reviewing your specific terms of service with your HSA. They all have different covered expenses and terms. We are also happy to provide receipts for reimbursement through health share programs.

For elective 2D, 3D/4D, HD, and early gender DNA tests, you do NOT need a doctor’s order for our ultrasounds. You just need to be under the care of a doctor or midwife.

Only for our diagnostic ultrasounds, you need an order from your doctor or midwife.

Our elective ultrasounds are for the purpose of seeing and bonding with baby, are not diagnostic and do not take the place of a diagnostic ultrasound, so it is still necessary to get all medically necessary ultrasounds through your doctor. You need to be in the care of a physician or midwife to get an ultrasound at Meet your Miracle.

We do also offer diagnostic ultrasounds. You will need an order from your doctor or midwife. Diagnostic ultrasounds are read by a board-certified radiologist, and the radiology report is then sent to your doctor for review.

Yes. 3D/4D/HD ultrasounds use the same frequency and intensity as the 2D ultrasounds performed by your doctor. In the 35+ years of use, ultrasounds have not been associated with increased risk or side effects. Meet Your Miracle only uses registered sonographers and well-maintained equipment to ensure the highest levels of safety.

Yes, we are able to determine the gender of the baby at 14 weeks with ultrasound if you desire those results.  Gender determination is not guaranteed on the first session due to some limiting factors, such as fetal position, placental placement, or amount of amniotic fluid etc.  If, for any reason, we cannot determine the gender after 14 weeks, we are happy to schedule another appointment at a later date at no additional charge. Gender determination starts at 6 weeks with our Early Gender Determination Blood Test. We offer a money back guarantee on all of our gender determinations at Meet Your Miracle!

If you prefer to keep the gender of the baby a secret, we can still do a 3D/4D scan! Just be sure to let us know ahead of time, and we will review the images before displaying them on the large screen to ensure we don’t reveal any telling details!

What is SneakPeek® Clinical?

How does SneakPeek® work?

SneakPeek utilizes the natural process of shared fetal DNA circulating inside the mother’s bloodstream. Our PCR technology has the ability to detect the presence or absence of male Y chromosome in the blood sample provided starting at 6 weeks into pregnancy. If it is detected then the baby’s gender is male and if it is not detected then the baby’s gender is female.

Twins

If you are expecting identical twins, you can use SneakPeek to determine the gender of both of your babies with accuracy. If you are expecting fraternal twins, and the test detects the male Y chromosome, at least one twin is a boy. There is no way of knowing if they are boy-boy or if they are girl-boy twins until you can get your ultrasound. However, if the test does not detect the male Y chromosome, both babies are definitely girls!

Drink lots of water! Drinking water helps increase amniotic fluid, which can help produce higher quality images. We recommend that you drink ten 8-ounce glasses of water every day for two weeks prior to your appointment. Low fluid will results in clouding, low quality images.

You also need to be sure you are in the care of a physician or midwife prior to scheduling your appointment at Meet Your Miracle. You only need an order from your doctor or midwife if you are getting a diagnostic ultrasound. Orders are not needed for any elective ultrasound.

Image quality does vary depending on a number of factors such as amniotic fluid levels, maternal tissue, and baby’s positioning. At the sonographer’s discretion, a make-up session can be scheduled.

Yes, our ultrasounds are by appointment only. You can book your session online to find a time that works for you! We try to be accommodating to the needs of our clients, and are available for evening and weekend sessions. Weekends and weekday evenings do fill up the fastest though, so be sure to book in advance to ensure your spot!

The process is very simple. Call or text us to schedule a heartbeat capture session for your loved one and his or her guardian for children. Our registered sonographer captures the heartbeat with a 1-3 minute ultrasound session. We get the heartbeat through the upper abdomen area, just below the breastbone for children and adults, and we can get an unborn baby’s heartbeat through the mother’s abdomen (just like for all of our 2D and 3D/4D prenatal sonograms). The same process is also used to capture the heartbeat for the purpose of getting a tattoo.  You will receive one printed image of your heartbeat and an outline of the waveform if desired at the time of your appointment.

We have room for up to 15 guests plus mom!

Do you have out-of-town family and friends? No problem! Our livestreaming is free and easy. We text you a link when you get here, and you share the link with your family and friend. They do not need to download an app, and the streaming service should work in most browsers. There is no audio with the stream, but you are welcome to have a group call during your session if you’d like.

Our new Hyper-Real 8K is an optional add on with any 3D session at 25 weeks or more. It is an AI supported editing process to turn your HD image into a hyper-realistic photo of what baby may look like when they arrive! All of our 8K images include the latest hyper-realistic technology and include both a digital photo as well as a short transition video.
